Moving Average Crossing indicator included
Exponential or Simple moving average, as well as adjusting the periods of the moving average, parameters are adjustables without having to modify the code , allowing everyone to have the screener adapted to their own criterias.
Everyone having his own preferences, you’ll be able to modify very easily all the parameters to reach the moving average crossing you’re looking for.
To adjust the parameters, simply open the Variables 🔧 menu :
A first filtering of stocks is carried out on the Daily time frame according to 2 criterias :
- minimum stock price (for those who do not wish to have a penny in the results for example)
- minimum average volume (expressed in number of transactions or capital exchanged) to have the desired level of liquidity on the stock.
Results Rankings :
Results are sorted by the “Long / Short” column as follows :
- 1 = bullish moving average crossing
- 2 = bearish moving average crossing
The values shown above are given, as examples and do not constitute an optimal or recommended setting, everyone should find his own settings.
Adjustable validation criteria :
- Short moving average period,
- Long moving average period,
- Filtering moving average,
- Mobile average type (EMA, SMA, WMA, …) independantly for each one,
- Display bullish Crossings,
- Display bearish Crossings.
Available filters :
- Stock price must be above / below a choosen moving average,
- Stock price must be above / below the short moving average.
General filter :
- Mini stock price
- Mini average volume
- Average volume in capital exchanged or number of transactions
