The Centaur is a creature from Greek mythology – A half-man, half-horse, Centaurs were mystical beings who were able to read the movements of the night sky in order to divine the future, making them talented seers that was said to live in the mountains of Thessaly. 

You cuold say that this algo has the body of a stable horse with the popular indicator PRT Bands reading of the 1 hour chart and the mind of a human trading on the 15min chart, and hopfully be able to see what the future holds! 

Version 1 of the Centaur strategy was first created in late 2022 and has been profitable since. Version 1.5 (this code) has been given improved stop functions. 

The strategy is optimized for 50% of the bars in-sample (IS) and 50% of the bars out-of-sample (OOS) for a robust system that will perform in both bull and bear markets.  

A size of 1 1€ contract has been used in the backtest. Can be changed in code, minimum is 0.5 contract. 

A spread of 2 had been used in the backtest.
