Summary

Stochastic MACD indicator with divergence for better entries and exits.  This uses the MACD indicator, but expressed as a percentage of Close price. This allows for the relative comparison between stocks which have different absolute values. The divergence indicator shows traders when price action and the SMACD are no longer showing the same momentum. The SMACD shows the magnitude of a price move in a specific timeframe.

If a chart has a SMACD divergence then the SMACD on the chart has lower highs when price is at a higher high or the SMACD makes higher lows when price makes new lower lows. When SMACD stops breaking out to higher highs during an uptrend in price or breaking down to lower lows when price is in a down trend then it is said to be an SMACD divergence.
