A bar moving much more than the average with exceptional volume is usually a buying or selling crescendo. This is often the signal for a pause in the current move, or a short or long term reversal.
This indicator warns you of these situations so you can be ready to act. Though not intended as a trading strategy on it’s own, when combined with other factors such as S&R, it can be an effective confluence to confirm market conditions.
This can be used on any timeframe and any instrument with volume data. However, it is most effective on intraday timeframes. The indicator is drawn as the candle forms so is a real time warning of a change with no lag.
