The SuperFive trading system is the latest development of Belgian trader Wim Lievens. The system incorporates all the major breakthroughs made by Wim over the last decade.

The advantages of the WL SuperFive system:

• Personal coaching by Wim Lievens for one hour in one or two sessions.

The components

These components were designed over the years by experienced trader Wim Lievens himself. Each component has a particular function.

The WL Momentum Cloud is a blue-purple cloud in the chart. The momentum cloud visualizes price action movement. It clearly shows the trader when momentum is on his side. The WL Momentum cloud, combined with the WL Triads, presents trading opportunities when the market price moves outside the momentum cloud.

The WL Trend Cloud is a green-red cloud in the chart. The trend cloud provides the trader with the current trend. Uniquely, the trend cloud combines two time-related (or range) charts into one. Opening two charts to see the trend in a lower and a higher time frame is no longer necessary!

The SuperFive trading set-ups

1. Trend corrections

Trend corrections are a classic trading set-up. The trader waits for the second and the third corrections in a new trend. It is important to only trade the ‘best’ corrections. This is where the WL Triads come into play.

2. Trend reversals

Trends don’t last forever. Sooner or later the trend will either stop (and the market moves sideways) or reverse. To identify a reversal the set-up uses a 1-2-3 reversal pattern.

3. Momentum

Strong price movements are unpredictable. A classic candlestick chart will simply show a big candle. There is no information available to trader if it is still possible to enter or if it is too late. The momentum set-up in the SuperFive system points out hesitations (WL Triads formed by WL Bars) during a strong price move, allowing traders to still ‘jump on the bus’. First price movements are the best, and it is good to limit the number of signals with the maximum signal setting (see Ease of Use).

4. Support & resistance tests

Buyers and sellers will often step in the market at particular price levels which have repeatedly occurred in the past. These are usually price levels at which significant volume was traded and at which the market price found support or resistance.

The SuperFive system allows traders to indicate a support and resistance level. The system will detect if on two occasions the support or resistance is broken. On the third such occasion a trading signal occurs.

5. Break-outs

Break-outs tend to occur at key levels (round numbers, pivot points, previous day high or low, opening range price levels…). Buyers and sellers step into the market at these price points.

The SuperFive system allows traders to set a break-out range. The system will detect when the market price moves out of the range. A trading signal occurs upon the appearance of the first WL Triad in the WL Momentum Cloud.

Het SuperFive trading systeem is de nieuwste ontwikkeling van de Belgische trader Wim Lievens. Het systeem bevat alle grote doorbraken die Wim de afgelopen tien jaar heeft gemaakt.

Dit zijn de voordelen van het WL SuperFive systeem:

De componenten van het S5 systeem

Deze onderdelen zijn in de loop der jaren ontworpen door de ervaren trader Wim Lievens zelf. Elk onderdeel heeft een bepaalde functie.

De WL Bars die op tick basis zeer precies de prijsbewegingen weergeven.

De WL Triades zijn gebaseerd op het concept van market structure points. Hun kracht ligt in hun combinatie met de WL-Range Bars. De WL Triads voorzien de trader van precieze in- en uitstappunten.

De WL Momentum Cloud is een blauw-paarse wolk in de grafiek. De Momentum Cloud visualiseert de beweging van de prijsactie. Het toont de trader duidelijk wanneer het momentum aan zijn kant staat. De WL Momentum cloud, gecombineerd met de WL Triads, biedt trading opportuniteiten wanneer de marktprijs zich buiten de Momentum Cloud beweegt.

De WL Trend Cloud is een groen-rode wolk in de grafiek. De Trend Cloud toont de trader de huidige trend. Uniek is dat de Trend Cloud twee tijdgerelateerde (of range) grafieken combineert in één. Het openen van twee grafieken om de trend in een lager en een hoger tijdskader te zien is niet langer nodig!

De SuperFive trading set-ups

1. Trend correcties

Correcties zijn een klassieke set-up. De trader wacht op de tweede en derde correctie in een nieuwe trend. Het is belangrijk om enkel de ‘beste’ correcties te traden. Dit is waar de WL Triades vaak gebruikt worden. Er zijn tevens 4 verschillende correcties voorzien.(zie video).

2. Trendomkeringen

Trends duren niet eeuwig. Vroeg of laat stopt de trend (en beweegt de markt zijwaarts) of keert hij om. Om een omkering te identificeren gebruikt de set-up een 1-2-3 omkeerpatroon.

3. Momentum

Sterke prijsbewegingen zijn onvoorspelbaar. Een klassieke kaarsgrafiek toont gewoon een grote kaars. Er is geen informatie beschikbaar voor de trader of het nog steeds opportuun is om in te stappen of als het al te laat is. De momentum set-up in het SuperFive systeem wijst op aarzelingen (WL Triads gevormd door WL Range Bars) tijdens een sterke koersbeweging, waardoor traders nog steeds ‘op de trein kunnen springen’. De eerste koersbewegingen zijn het beste, en het is goed om het aantal signalen te beperken met de maximale signaalinstelling (zie video).

4. Steun en weerstand tests

Kopers en verkopers stappen vaak in op bepaalde prijsniveaus die in het verleden al meermaals zijn voorgekomen. Dit zijn meestal prijsniveaus waarop een aanzienlijk volume werd verhandeld en waarop de marktprijs steun of weerstand vond.

Met het SuperFive-systeem kunnen traders een steun- en weerstandsniveau aangeven. Het systeem zal detecteren of bij twee gelegenheden de steun of weerstand is verbroken. De derde keer treedt er een signaal op.

5. Break-outs

Break-outs komen vaak voor op belangrijke niveaus (ronde getallen, omkeerpunten, hoogste of laagste koers van de vorige dag…). Kopers en verkopers stappen op deze prijsniveaus in de markt.

Het SuperFive systeem stelt traders in staat om dergelijke significante niveau’s in te stellen. Het systeem detecteert wanneer de marktprijs zich buiten het bereik beweegt. Een signaal treedt op bij het verschijnen van de eerste WL Triad in de WL Momentum Cloud.
