Live results 

As you can see from the live results, during this period the system has performed quite well, delivering solid and consistent results with a drawdown in line with expectations.

For this reason, there has been no need to further recalibrate or modify the strategy, which confirms the robustness and reliability of the trading logic behind it.

However, today we would like to introduce a new updated version, featuring several small improvements because we believe that in the near future the Gold market could play a very important role within the current macroeconomic landscape, potentially offering many trading opportunities.

Through our continuous market analysis and ongoing research, we aim to capture these opportunities with an even more refined version of the strategy.

Backtest (+9years 1h timeframe – Spot gold E1 – spread 0.5 -2 contractsize)

As you can see from the backtest results, this updated version aims to maintain consistent performance while further reducing risk and controlling drawdowns.

The strategy is also relatively lightweight in terms of capital requirements. With a contract size of 2 on Spot Gold E1 (margin required < $500), it is possible to achieve satisfactory results while maintaining a relatively low risk profile.

Additionally, the system includes a Flat After rule at 21:00 (Berlin time). By automatically closing all positions before the overnight session, the strategy avoids overnight exposure as well as additional swap or overnight commission costs, making the overall approach even more efficient.

In addition, this system integrates very well with the other automated strategies available in our store that we have live, making it a valuable component for building a diversified portfolio of trading systems.
